This news item and the accompanying youtube videos show the fascinating work of Tim Samaras. Using a specialized digital camera he has captured the seemingly impossible, the precursor leaders to a lightening strike in ultra-slow-motion. My personal favorite is the forth video, which appears to show a complete cloud-cloud-ground-cloud cycle. GREAT!
